Sports Events and Study Tours Planned for Telangana Legislators, says Speaker
The two-day awareness programme for MLAs and MLCs at MCRHRD concluded on Thursday. A total of 17 Council Members and 61 MLAs participated in the event. Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Speaker expressed satisfaction with the legislators' attendance, emphasizing the importance of such programmes in enhancing their understanding of legislative affairs.
Hyderabad: Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar said sports events and study tours would be conducted for legislators in the coming days.
The two-day awareness programme for MLAs and MLCs at MCRHRD concluded here on Thursday. About 17 Council Members and 61 MLAs attended in the awareness programme.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the programme, the Speaker said it was good that the legislators attended the programme to learn about legislative affairs. This programme helped them understand the rules and regulations, besides the privileges extended to the Members, he said.
