Hyderabad: Sreenidhi University hosted its first Founder’s Day celebrations featuring speeches from dignitaries who laid out the future plans, awards celebrating academic excellence of students and a musical night that featured top playback singer Karthik along with new and upcoming musical talent.
The Founder’s Day event featured speeches by Dr P Narsimha Reddy, Pro-Chancellor; Abhijit Rao, president; Dr M Karthikeyan, Dean of the School of Engineering, who underscored the importance of staying ahead in a rapidly evolving technological world by embracing innovation, adaptability, and leadership, a press release said.
On the occasion, Chancellor Dr KT Mahhe unveiled roadmap for the university’s future with a commitment to cutting-edge education, research, and global collaborations.
The event also celebrated academic brilliance through academic excellence awards, which recognised students for their exceptional performance. The champions trophy for all-round excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, and sports, was presented to the most outstanding students.
The musical night featured Karthik, rapper Kayden, DJs Akhlad and Sartek, who turned the night into a pulsating EDM festival.
