Sreenidi Deccan FC signs I-League Best Defender Muhammad Hammad for new season
Sreenidi Deccan FC has signed defender Muhammad Hammad for the upcoming I-League season. The 28-year-old, previously with Real Kashmir FC and FC Goa, brings vast defensive experience and was named Best Defender of the 2023-24 I-League season.

Hyderabad: Sreenidi Deccan FC has announced the signing of defender Muhammad Hammad for the upcoming season of the I-League championship.
The defender previously played for Real Kashmir FC and Lonestar Kashmir FC in the I-League and I-League 2nd Division respectively.
Hammad commenced his career with Lonestar Kashmir FC in the I-League 2nd Division following his joining of Real Kashmir FC prior to the 2017-18 I-League 2nd Division season, where he assisted the Snow Leopards in their promotion to the I-League. Subsequently, he played four seasons in the I-League with Real Kashmir FC before joining FC Goa ahead of the 2024-25 season and returning to the Snow Leopards during the January 2025 transfer window.
The 28-year-old Hammad possesses extensive experience leading a defensive line in the I-League and will be an integral component of the Deccan Warriors’ defense in the forthcoming season. Notably, Muhammad Hammad was awarded the Jarnail Singh Award for the Best Defender of the I-League 2023-24 season.
