HYDERABAD: Sreenidi Deccan FC gear up for the final stretch of the I-League 2024-25 when it takes on Inter Kashi at the Deccan Arena here on Wednesday under floodlights.
In the last league fixture, the Deccan Warriors recorded a 1-0 win away to Delhi FC, while Inter Kashi defeated Namdhari FC 3-2 in a hard-fought battle in Kolkata.
Assistant coach Ishant Singh, who is currently in charge of the Deccan Warriors, said that they analysed our opponents and are preparing accordingly for the upcoming games.
“However, at the moment, our entire focus is on the match against Inter Kashi. There are areas in our game that we still need to improve, and we have worked on those with dedication. It will be a difficult game against a tough opponent on our home turf, but we are well prepared,” he explained.
Defender Hardik Bhatt, who has made a name for himself since joining the team in the January transfer window, also shared his thoughts on the team’s preparations.
“We have had a short but productive break, which has allowed us to be fresh for the final stretch of the league. Inter Kashi are a really tough opponent, and we have to be at our very best, staying focused throughout the game to secure all three points against such a strong side,” he said.
In the reverse fixture, Inter Kashi were victorious at their home turf with a 3-1 scoreline.
