Sri Narasimha Jayanthi celebrations to be held on May 11
Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu, president, HKM-Hyderabad on Friday said “We are celebrating Sri Narasimha Jayanthi Festival at our first golden temple of Telangana on May 11 and all necessary arrangements are currently underway.”
Hyderabad: Sri Narasimha Jayanthi, which marks the appearance of Lord Sri Narasimha will be celebrated on Sunday, May 11 at Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills of Hare Krishna Movement (HKM).

The day long celebrations will feature unique programs such as Abhayam, for children and parents to chant powerful Narasimha mantras to overcome fear, anxiety, and self-doubt by awakening Abhaya, a press release said.
“This auspicious day offers a rare opportunity to witness the divine rituals, immerse in the sacred kirtans, and receive the blessings of Lord Sri Narasimha,” HKM president said.
Some of the highlights of the festival include special darshan of Swayambhu deity and Vishesha Alankara of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy as Yoga Narasimha. Visitors can also participate in Jhulan Seva and Maha Abhishekam to Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (Mulavar Deity) early in the morning, HKM said.
