Sridhar Babu invites Singapore companies to invest in Bharat Future City
Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu invited Singapore companies to explore investment opportunities in Bharat Future City and Telangana’s semiconductor ecosystem. He highlighted sectors including advanced manufacturing, electronics, life sciences and green technology and invited Singapore participation in the Telangana Rising Global Summit.
Hyderabad: Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu urged Singapore companies to explore investment opportunities in “Bharat Future City” and said Singapore’s technological and industrial expertise could contribute to the development of Telangana’s semiconductor ecosystem. He invited Singapore companies to explore opportunities in semiconductor fabrication, ancillary industries and an integrated supply chain.
He made the appeal during a meeting with a high-level Singapore delegation led by Augustine Lee, Permanent Secretary (Energy and Trade), Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore, at the Secretariat here on Wednesday.
He said Telangana was seeking to strengthen its position as a destination for high-value industries, research and development and technology-driven enterprises through international partnerships. The Minister highlighted investment opportunities for Singapore companies in sectors including IT and IT-enabled services, emerging technologies, semiconductors, electronics, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, biotechnology, aerospace, green technology, renewable energy, logistics, urban infrastructure, research and development and skill development.
He invited the Singapore Government and Singapore companies to participate in the “Telangana Rising Global Summit–2026”, scheduled to be held from December 7 to 9, and sought their support in facilitating wider participation from Singapore.
