SSC Public Examinations to commence on Mar 14

Hyderabad: The SSC Public Examinations 2026, commencing March 14, are set to run over one month, with an average of a four-day gap between most exams. Earlier, the exams used to be completed in 10 days.
According to the timetable released by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), the first language examination is on March 14 and the second language examination on March 18, a three-day gap between the exams.
Students will get a four-day gap between English, mathematics, physical science and biological science exams, which are scheduled for March 23, March 28, April 2 and April 7, respectively. Further, there is a five-day gap before the social studies exam is conducted on April 13.
As per the schedule, the OSSC Main language paper – I and the SSC vocational course (theory) will be held on April 15, and the OSSC Main language paper – II will be held on April 16.

Except for physical science and biological exams, SSC exams will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The physical and biological science exams will be conducted from 9.30 am to 11 am.
Further, the objective paper in the examination must be answered in the last 30 minutes for all subjects except for English and Science. As for physical and biological sciences, the objective paper has to be answered in the last 15 minutes. Performance of candidates who answer a wrong question paper combination will be cancelled.
