St Michael’s School clinch Subramaniam Memorial football title with 5-0 win
St Michael’s School (Alwal) defeated Secunderabad Public School 5-0 in the under-16 final of the Subramaniam Memorial Inter-school Football Tournament in Hyderabad. Jaison scored a hat-trick, while Akhil and Riyan added one goal each for the winners

Hyderabad: St Michael’s School (Alwal) scored a 5-0 win against Secunderabad Public School in the under-16 final of the 12th Subramaniam Memorial Inter-school Football Tournament organized by Friends Club of Bolarum on Friday.
For the winners, Jaison scored a hat-trick while Akhil and Riyan struck once each.
Earlier, in the semifinals, St Michael’s recorded a 6-0 win against Orchids School (Bolarum) with Jaison (2), Akhil, Riyan, Ryan and Vikranth being the scorers. Secunderabad Public School notched up a 2-0 win against St. Michael’s B with Tejas and Priaash scoring.
G Srinivasan, former State player and retired Superintendent in GST (Central Excise), gave away the prizes.
