State footballer Charan picked for Indian team
Telangana footballer Hrishikesh Charan Manavathi has been picked for the India squad in the SAFF U17 Championship in Sri Lanka, continuing his consistent performances in national tournaments since 2022

Hyderabad: Hrishikesh Charan Manavathi of Telangana has been selected to represent India in the SAFF U17 Championship to be held in Sri Lanka from September 16.
Charan had earlier represented Telangana in the 2022 Sub-Junior Nationals and the 2024 Junior Nationals and had been a consistent performer, according to G P Palguna, secretary of Telangana Football Association.
