Telangana's former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao recalls his association with Satyanarayana during the Statehood movement

Sangareddy: Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said the State lost a true Telangana activist in R Satyanarayana.

Rao, who recalled his association with Satyanarayana during the statehood movement, sent condolence messages to the family of the former MLC and veteran journalist R Satyanarayana.


Rao said  Satyanarayana played a vital role in strengthening the BRS in the erstwhile Medak district besides leaving an indelible mark as a journalist and Telangana activist.

The funeral of Satyanarayana will be performed on Sunday afternoon in Sangareddy.

Ministers Damodara Rajanarasimha, Ponnam Prabhakar, and other leaders also sent condolence messages to the family members of Satyanarayana.
