Steady rise in vaccine administration in Telangana

On Sunday, a total of 97,442 individuals received the first and second dose of Covid vaccines in 1,088 Covid Vaccination Centres spread across Telangana

Hyderabad: The health authorities continued to administer Covid vaccine to large number eligible persons across Telangana. On Sunday, a total of 97,442 individuals received the first and second dose of Covid vaccines in 1,088 Covid Vaccination Centres spread across Telangana.

Out of the 97,442 individuals vaccinated, 95,169 received the first dose while the remaining 2,273 individuals completed their second dose of Covid vaccine. So far, 18,56,822 eligible individuals including health care workers, senior citizens, persons above 45 years have received the first dose of Covid vaccine in Telangana.


A total of 3,02,015 persons, which includes all eligible groups, have received the second dose of Covid vaccines. A total of 1,73,378 health care workers, 70,392 front line workers and another 58,245 persons above 45 years have received the second dose of Covid vaccine in the State.
