Story contest by Namasthe Telangana: Win up to Rs 50,000

The main aim of the competition is to have stories in the backdrop of culture, history, diversities of contemporary life

Hyderabad: Namasthe Telangana in association with Mulkanooru Sahiti Peetam of Mulkanooru Praja Grandhalayam, Hanamkonda, is organising a story competition with a first prize of Rs 50,000, two second prizes of Rs 25,000 each, three third prizes of Rs 10,000 each and six consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each.

The best 22 stories from received entries will be selected and the award winning stories will be published in ‘Bathukamma’ of Namasthe Telangana. Ten stories will be accepted for general publication and these will receive Rs 1,000 along with a memento.

The main aim of the competition is to have stories in the backdrop of culture, history, diversities of contemporary life. Stories that are novel and creative are welcome.

Entries should not be more than 1,500 words and written script should not be more than 12 pages. The last date for receiving entries for the competition is February 15.
