Jagtial: About 20 sheep died and 20 others injured in a stray dogs’ attack in Kacharam of Medipalli mandal on Monday. Sheep owned by a Shepherd Gudise Komuraiah were killed when stray dogs attacked them. About Rs 2 lakh worth sheep died in the attack.
Komuraiah informed the issue to the District Animal Husbandry department officials, who assured to help him by bringing the issue to the notice of higher officials and get compensation.
Zilla Parishad Vice-Chairman Haricharan Rao, deputy sarpanch Saikrishna Rao and others visited the spot and promised to provide all kinds assistance to Komuraiah.
