Student beaten to death by father in Bhongir
The victim, 15-year-old Katta Bhanu, was a ninth-grade student at a private school in Choutuppal. After returning home late from a school award function, his father, Saidulu, became furious over the delay and severely beat him, leading to his death.
Bhongir: In a tragic incident, a student was beaten to death, allegedly by his father, at Arepally village of Choutuppal Mandal on Saturday evening.
The victim, identified as Katta Bhanu, 15, was a ninth-grade student studying at a private school in Choutuppal. Bhanu returned home late from an award function at his school. His father, Saidulu, enraged over the delay, beat him severely resulting in his death.
Family members attempted to bury Bhanu’s body silently without conducting a post-mortem, but the police intervened and sent the body for post mortem.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
