Student goes missing from social welfare residential college in Asifabad
An Intermediate second-year student went missing from a social welfare residential college for girls in Rebbena mandal of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district. Police launched a search after CCTV footage showed the girl leaving the campus by scaling the compound wall.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: An intermediate student was reported missing from a social welfare residential college for girls in Rebbena mandal headquarters on Thursday, causing concern among her parents.
Police said the girl, who is studying Intermediate II year at the college, left the institute by jumping over the compound wall at 4.30 am, according to CCTV camera footage. She had returned to the college recently. She is a native of Marthidi village in Bejjur mandal. She could not be traced till evening.
The college principal lodged a complaint with the police, who launched a search for her. Police sought people’s cooperation in getting any information about the missing girl. Meanwhile, her parents urged the officials to locate her and strengthen security measures at the college. They requested the authorities to take steps to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in future.
