Students of Kairos International School showcase music and yoga skills
School’s music teacher reflected on the great history of world music and stole the show with his music skills.
International Yoga Day and Music Day celebrations were held at Kairos International School virtually on June 21. All the students and staff members participated in the activities organised as a part of the celebrations during a special assembly. The inaugural speech stressed the importance of yoga and exercises in day-to-day life.
All the students performed a few yoga asanas as demonstrated by a VI grade student. He also demonstrated the Surya Namaskar and the students showed keen interest in performing them. One of the teachers demon- strated various asanas for neck and shoulders and encouraged the chil- dren to practice yoga daily.
School’s music teacher reflected on the great history of world music and stole the show with his music skills. Principal Krishna Sri addressed the students and enhanced the audience’s knowledge about yoga and the impact of music in life.
“Yoga helps in improving concentration and in attaining inner peace. It helps a person improve life physically, mentally, and spiritually as well. Celebrating health and music together brings forth the value of both,” she said. The gathering identified the celebration as a great experience.
