Students of Pallavi Model School Learn the essence of colours

To make the children realise the importance of trees we asked them to plant a sapling in their garden, the school said.

Think of nature and you see green in all its glory expressing renewal and life. Pallavi Model School, Alwal celebrated Green Colour Day with the motto plant a tree and get O2 free. We all love to see the greenery in our environment but we don’t make an effort to protect it.

To make the children realise the importance of trees we asked them to plant a sapling in their garden, the school said. Students named saplings and promised to take care of their friends by watering them and ensuring they get sunlight daily. This activity helped them to take care of the environment and nature around us.

Students and teachers were dressed up in green and decorated a corner with green objects in their virtual classes. Children enacted songs like how a seed grows into a plant “ I am a tiny seed”, “ Agar ped bhi chalte hote” in Hindi. Mishika gave a peek of her garden to her friends. Children made a takeaway of the day nursery peas in the pod, LKG and UKG made coconut tree.
