Students protest against JNTU-H Vice Chancellor in Hyderabad
Students Protection Forum members staged a protest at JNTU-Hyderabad demanding the removal of Vice Chancellor Prof T Kishen Kumar Reddy. The protesters alleged inappropriate behaviour, discrimination against Dalit and tribal students, and restrictions on student access to the university administration.

Hyderabad: Demanding the removal of JNTU-Hyderabad Vice Chancellor Prof T Kishen Kumar Reddy from the post, representatives of the Students Protection Forum (SPF) staged a protest at the university here on Thursday. They demanded the appointment of a person who is accessible to students and treats them with respect.
The protesters alleged that the Vice Chancellor had been frequently using inappropriate language while interacting with students, security personnel and university officials. The Forum representatives also alleged discrimination against Dalit and tribal students and accused the administration of not providing opportunities for students to meet the Vice Chancellor and present their concerns.
SPF representatives Javvaji Dileep and Rahul Naik alleged that verbal instructions had been issued restricting the entry of even students carrying valid identity cards into the university campus.
Several student leaders, including Sagar Naik, Durgaprasad, Sujay, Srinikethan, Anand, Aditya, Chakravarthi, Srikanth and Vasanth, also participated in the protest.
