Sangareddy: Inmates of the tribal welfare residential school in Narayankhed staged a protest on Thursday, alleging that the management was serving poor quality food and ignoring the menu displayed in the hostel. Despite repeated appeals by the students, the management continued to serve the same food, they said.

The students walked out during breakfast and threw their plates on the road as a mark of protest, raising slogans against the hostel management.

Demanding action against the hostel warden and staff, they urged officials to ensure that food was served strictly according to the prescribed menu.
