Karimnagar: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar advised the students to strive hard to reach higher positions in life and not to compromise on their goals. If they have any problems, bring them to the notice of officials.

Speaking after distributing shoes to the students of Mulkanoor model school in Chigurumamidi mandal on Saturday, the Minister said the lifestyle of students would not change with distribution of shoes and providing midday meals. Students should do hard work to reach higher positions. The teachers, who were teaching lessons to students, got the jobs by doing hard work. Minister instructed the teachers to take initiatives to ensure model school students excel in English language. Besides English, students must learn Hindi language also, he opined.

He informed that shoes are being distributed to 23,000 students in the district under CSR funds with the initiative of the district collector. Collector Pamela Satpathy, Additional Collector Praful Deshai and others participated in the programme.
