Hyderabad: A teaser of Vande Mataram, an upcoming patriotic song by singer and actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, was released on Tuesday. The full video will be launched on August 15, marking Independence Day.

Directed by South Indian filmmaker Seshu KMR, the 30-second teaser features minimal visuals—national symbols, wide landscape shots, and glimpses of Suchitra herself. The music hints at an emotional tone, with clear vocals and clean production.

Unlike many recent patriotic releases that rework older songs, Vande Mataram is an original composition. Suchitra, who has worked across film, music, and theatre, has written and composed the song.

Seshu, who has previously worked as a sound designer and director, has used AI-driven visuals to shape the look of the video. The aim, according to the team, is to blend traditional elements with modern visuals while keeping the mood subtle and respectful.
