Mancherial: Government Whip Balka Suman on Thursday expressed gratitude to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Information Technology Minister KT Rama for granting Rs 10 crore to construct a high-level bridge across Suddalavagu in Chennur mandal.
Suman said that the residents of Suddala and surrounding villages were cut off from the mainstream whenever the stream is in spate due to the lack of a bridge. However, their woes would be a thing of the past with the construction of the bridge soon.
He directed the officials of the roads and buildings to begin the tendering process and to take steps to commence the works of the bridge at the earliest.
