Hyderabad: The popular Sunday Funday at Tank Bund held this week turned out to be a hit among families. The event was especially enjoyed by children, they were seen skating, cycling and playing on the traffic-free stretch, which is possible only when the Sunday Funday is organised.

Arvind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration and Urban Development also posted pictures of the event on Twitter. “#TankBund Sunday-Funday Family time- Fun time,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, one of the visitors at the Tank Bund said that he and his family enjoyed a lot and mentioned that his relatives from Gujarat lauded the event. “I visited Tank Bund along with my cousins who hail from Gujarat, they enjoyed the spectacular view and the beautiful event. They lauded the illuminated stretch and spent quality time at the lake,” said Abhay Jain.

While most visitors were seen clicking pictures with Buddha statues in the background, several of them were enjoying snacks seated in the gazebos. People also took a stroll on the pavement enjoying the breeze and the pleasant weather.
