Superstar Krishna participates in Green India Challenge on his birthday

The Superstar's initiative came after Green India Challenge founder and Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar conveyed his wishes to the Superstar and requested him to plant saplings on his birthday.

Hyderabad: Telugu Superstar Krishna, who is celebrating his birthday, added one unique element to the celebrations here on Monday, by planting saplings at his Nanakramguda residence as part of the Green India Challenge.

The Superstar’s initiative came after Green India Challenge founder and Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar conveyed his wishes to the Superstar and requested him to plant saplings on his birthday. Krishna, while accepting the wishes and planting the saplings, said it was everyone’s duty to safeguard nature and greenery.

He felt good that he participated in Green India Challenge and conveyed his gratitude to Santosh Kumar and congratulated him for taking up the endeavor to motivate people for greenery plantation.
