Suriya’s ‘Retro’ gears up for OTT release

The film will be available on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, and other Indian languages.

Hyderabad: The action film Retro, starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde, is now heading to OTT after its recent run in theatres. The film will be available on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, and other Indian languages.

Netflix has confirmed that the movie will start streaming from May 31, 2025. The digital release is happening in less than a month after the film hit theatres.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro did not do well at the box office, especially in the Telugu states. With its release on OTT, the makers are hoping to reach more viewers.

The film also stars Joju George, Nassar, Vidhu, and Jayaram in important roles. Music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, while produced by Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainment.

Fans are now waiting to see if Retro gets a better response on Netflix.
