Surveyor caught red-handed by ACB while accepting bribe in Rajanna Sircilla
As per ACB officials, Nagaraju, a surveyor at the Yellareddypet Tahsildhar office, demanded a bribe of ₹1 lakh from Jakkarapu Mallesham in exchange for issuing a land measurement panchanama certificate.
Rajanna Sircilla: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths trapped a surveyor while he was accepting bribe from a farmer in Chandrampeta of Yellareddypet mandal on Saturday.
According to ACB officials, Nagaraju, who is working as surveyor in Yellareddypet Tahsildhar office, demanded Rs 1 lakh from Jakkarapu Mallesham to issue land measurements panchanama certificate.
A resident of Venkatapur, Mallesham who had already paid Rs 22,000 to surveyor, approached the ACB police. Nagaraju was nabbed while accepting Rs 15,000 from farmer at Chandrampet Rythu vedika.
Later, ACB sleuths took the surveyor to Tahsildhar office for questioning.
