Suryapet: 11 persons including children seriously injured in road accident

Suryapet: Eleven persons including three children were seriously injured in a road accident on National Highway 65 at Tirumalgiri of Chivvemla mandal in the district on Saturday night.
The incident has taken place at 8.45 pm when a SUV in which they were traveling hit a crash barrier set up on the road after hitting a bullock. About 10 persons including seven adults and three children were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the incident. They were going to Jangareddygudem of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh State from Hyderabad to attend the funeral rites of a relative there, but met with the accident on the way. The victims belong to two families, who were residing in Sumithra Nagar of Kukatpally in Hyderabad.
Learning about the incident, Suryapet police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government General Hospital at Suryapet for treatment. The condition of three injured persons is said to be serious.
