Suspecting infidelity, man kills wife in Hyderabad’s Jawaharnagar

The couple was reportedly having frequent fights over Ashok suspecting his wife’s fidelity; during one such argument, he bludgeoned her to death with an iron rod

Hyderabad: A woman was killed by her husband allegedly suspecting her fidelity in their house at Jawaharnagar on Wednesday.

The victim was identified as K Soni (30), wife of Ashok (35), a private employee. The couple had a love marriage three years ago after convincing their families.


As per available information, the couple was having frequent fights over Ashok suspecting his wife’s fidelity. The fights increased during recent times.

On Wednesday morning, during one such argument, Ashok grabbed an iron rod and bludgeoned Soni to death in the bedroom. He left the body on the bed and fled from the spot.

The Jawaharnagar police visited the spot and took up investigation. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Ashok was taken into custody. The police are yet to announce his arrest.
