Hyderabad: A 28-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide reportedly amid marital disputes and suspicions about her husband’s alleged relationship with another woman in Balanagar on Saturday.

According to police, the victim, D Navaneetha of Sumithra Nagar, left her seven-month-old son with her mother-in-law before entering another room and allegedly hanging herself.

Police said the couple had frequent disagreements, reportedly linked to the husband’s drinking habit and Navaneetha’s suspicion that he was involved with another woman.

A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
