Hyderabad: Swiggy, an on-demand convenience platform, has launched a multi-restaurant ordering feature on its app, allowing users to combine dishes from up to five restaurants in a single order.
The feature eliminates the need to manage separate carts and checkouts for different restaurants. Users can order starters, main courses and desserts from multiple eateries in one transaction.
Each restaurant prepares and delivers its order independently. The individual orders are displayed as separate tabs on a shared tracking screen, allowing users to monitor their deliveries in one place.
Speaking about the launch, Swiggy Food Marketplace Chief Business Officer Sidharth Bhakoo said the feature addressed the common dilemma of choosing between different dining options.
“We are giving users the power to mix and match from their favourite restaurants or across a range of cuisines, whether it is pairing pizzas with biryani or combining sushi with local street food, all with a single checkout option,” he said.
