Hyderabad: Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) on Tuesday provided an option for students to submit the application forms for ‘B’ category admissions in the private professional colleges at its office if the managements were refusing to accept.
There were allegations by certain students and student organisations that private professional colleges were not accepting applications of certain students for admissions under ‘B’ category and students who were less meritorious were getting the opportunity, the TAFRC said in a notification.
“To overcome this inconvenience, students are informed that in case their application is refused by any institution, they can submit the application for admissions at the TAFRC office, which will forward their application to the colleges concerned for consideration. The schedule as notified by the TS EAMCET admissions convener should be followed,” it added.
