Private professional colleges in Telangana, which began an indefinite shutdown on Monday over fee reimbursement arrears, have announced a ‘Chalo Secretariat’ protest with 10 lakh students on November 11, following a massive staff protest at LB Stadium on November 8.
The FATHI has postponed its proposed college shutdown from October 13 to October 23 following an assurance from the Chief Minister’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy that Rs. 300 crore in fee reimbursement dues will be released before Diwali festival.
