Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation has announced traffic diversions on Uppal Ring Road from May 17 due to corridor works. The road towards Warangal will be closed, with alternative routes issued for commuters and heavy vehicles advised to use the Outer Ring Road via Hayathnagar.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said it was pertinent to organise a 10K Run as part of the efforts to create awareness on the precautions to be taken against coronavirus.
