In the first incident, two motorists were killed after being hit by a rashly driven car in Secunderabad, while in the second, two private travel buses collided, leaving several passengers seriously injured in Yadadri-Bhongir district.
The injured have been shifted to a hospital, and condition of five of them was stated to be life-threatening, while eight others sustained very serious injuries. Others suffered minor but bleeding injuries,
The accident took place as the driver of the private bus applied sudden brakes bringing the vehicle to an abrupt halt on the road. This resulted in a car following the bus to collide with it.
