Local reports state that 26-year-old Dr. Ravi Kumar was discovered dead in his apartment at Harshit Towers, Raipur, on Sunday. His junior colleagues at AIIMS Raipur grew concerned when he failed to arrive at the hospital on time and began calling him. After several attempts went unanswered, they went to his flat, where they found his lifeless body.
Power Grid Corporation of India on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with AIIMS Raipur for providing medical equipment and an ambulance worth Rs 15.50 crore to the institute.
