Over 200 passengers on Air India’s Delhi-Singapore flight were deplaned after waiting nearly two hours inside a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with a faulty air conditioning and electrical system. The airline has not yet issued an official statement.
An Air India flight AI2913 from Delhi to Indore returned safely to Delhi on Sunday after the cockpit crew received a fire indication in the right engine. The aircraft has been grounded for inspection, and passengers will be moved to a replacement flight.

Initial reports confirmed that the aircraft caught fire moments after takeoff and crashed near the airport perimeter. Visuals from the site showed thick black smoke rising from the debris as emergency services rushed to the scene.

Air India said in a statement, "All our passengers are being extended maximum on-ground assistance with clearance formalities and provided other necessary support"

According to an official note from the airport, the airline would be operating with a Boeing 777-200 aircraft, with a seat capacity of 238 (8 First Class + 35 Business Class + 195 Economy Class).
