Air India’s deal to purchase 470 aircraft from Boeing and Airbus comes as a testimony to India’s growing economic muscle

The two leaders welcomed the first meeting of the initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies held recently in Washington DC.

The order comprises 40 Airbus A350s, 20 Boeing 787s and 10 Boeing 777-9s widebody aircraft, as well as 210 Airbus A320/321 Neos and 190 Boeing 737 MAX single-aisle aircraft.

After hearing arguments from parties, Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) of the Patiala House Courts Harjyot Singh Bhalla reserved his verdict.

Air India is also separately engaged in procuring iPads for pilots and crew members and when introduced, Coruson will also be available on these devices as well.

On Thursday, Air India banned Shankar Mishra from flying with the airline for four months after an internal committee determined that he was an unruly passenger who allegedly urinated on a co-passenger

"Accused, instead of being remorseful for the utterly disgusting act committed by him, has adopted a campaign of spreading misinformation and falsities with the intent of further harassing the Victim."

Mishra is a resident of Mumbai and the investigating teams are trying to trace his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, two teams of Delhi Police are on the lookout for Mishra, who is continuously changing his location to evade arrest.
