The police commissioner, who visited Raghunathpalli police station on Wednesday, said a police officer should be determined to bring in transformation in the lives of citizens and derive great satisfaction from the realization that he was contributing towards making society a safer place to live in
Stating that the police were taking strict action against those who commit sexual assaults on women, he asked women to be vigilant and not share their personal information with strangers.
During a cell phone recovery event held at the Warangal Commissionerate office, the police commissioner distributed recovered cell phones to their owners. He mentioned that a special unit has been established in each police station, along with the City Crime Station (CCS), to track lost and stolen cell phones. He urged the public to file a complaint on the CEIR portal as soon as a phone is lost, which will assist in its recovery.
Scores of students from various educational institutions made a beeline at the police commissionerate to have a glimpse of different kinds of weapons, bomb disposal equipment, fingerprinting equipment and communication gadgets.
