According to ACB officials, Anand Goud seized a sand-laden truck of one Gangadhar on June 26. When he approached the SI seeking the release of his vehicle, the SI demanded Rs.50,000 as bribe from him.

Goud reached the national capital on Wednesday after starting from Hyderabad on December 17.
