The state government has purchased 9,260 mobile vehicles worth Rs 539 crores for distributing rice and other essential commodities to ration card holders at their doorstep.
Senior YSRCP leader V. Vijaysai Reddy alleged that Naidu toured the world in a special aircraft when he was in power on the pretext of bringing investments to the state.
According to police, the driver has been identified as Md Ahmad Alishah, a resident of Nidadavole town. The liquor was transported from Kolkata to Andhra Pradesh.
The raid which was conducted late on Monday night resulted in the seizure of Rs 15,785 in cash and 32 mobile phones, two laptops and a mobile conference box worth Rs 5 lakh.
PS Pradyumna, Special Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing, informed that the procurement will be carried forward from the farm gate in special cases.
