A 36-year-old man died while his wife and six-year-old son sustained serious injuries after a speeding lorry hit their two-wheeler on NH-161 at Sangupet in Andole mandal of Sangareddy district. The injured were shifted to Jogipet hospital
The bus was heading towards Sangareddy from Narayankhed when the incident occurred. Since the bus was going at high speed at the time of the mishap, several passengers sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to the area hospital in Jogipet for treatment. The police registered a case.
The victim, Prasad, a resident of Talelma in Andole Mandal, said some persons stole his phone while he was getting into an RTC bus at Jogipet bus station three days ago
