The Calcutta High Court's single bench led by Justice Kausik Chanda passed the order while hearing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's election petition.
Assembly elections are scheduled in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur during February - March next year. Gujarat Assembly polls are also slated for 2022 end.
The DMK chief is set to assume office as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on May 7 and he would be sworn in as CM in a simple function to be held at the Raj Bhavan.
The victory did not, however, land in Stalin's lap and he worked towards it by reaching out to people systematically by targeting the Centre and state governments on many issues.
"The CPI(M)-led LDF will play its due role in this and we expect that the people of Kerala who have always stood up as one will continue to do so in a more stronger manner," he said.
The Election Commission on April 27 had banned all victory processions after counting of votes in states where assembly polls were held to check the spread of coronavirus.
As per the Election Commission figures, the LDF is ahead in 85 seats, while the opposition Congress-headed UDF is leading in 44 segments and the BJP-NDA, in three constituencies.
The Congress has established initial leads only on five seats while its partners Bodoland Peoples Front on two seats and All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) on one seat.
In the city's Beliaghata area, clashes broke out between two groups of people, following which the police resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse them.
