Telangana got off to a strong start, trouncing Assam 65-10 in the girls' event of the 49th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for Boys and Girls, being conducted by the Telangana Basketball Association under the auspices of the Basketball Federation of India and the Sports Authority of Telangana State in Hyderabad on Monday.

When a new body is elected, the previous body would submit all the documents pertaining to the association and hand over the office.
