Fear gripped villages in Turkapally mandal of Yadadri Bhongir district after a tiger killed a cow in Dattayapalli. Forest officials issued advisories, installed trap cameras and warned residents to stay indoors after dark.

The deceased were identified as Lingala Hemanth (14) and Singireddy Pavan Kumar (14), residents of Kisan Nagar in Bhongir town.
