Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bengaluru on August 10 to inaugurate the Yellow Line of Namma Metro and lay the foundation for Phase-3. The new 19.15 km line is expected to ease congestion and benefit over 25 lakh people
BMRCL officials stated that since the commencement of Metro operations, fares have not been revised. Due to rising operational costs, the need to maintain stations and trains, provide dedicated coaches for women, and offer special services for senior citizens and others, they emphasized that increasing Metro fares has become unavoidable.
