Services of the daily express were introduced to ease traffic and to improve the transportation facility for economically weak people of northern Telangana in 1986.
The Bhagyanagar Express was halted for more than one hour as the bund of a newly constructed railway bridge was dislocated due to the continuous rains in the district.
