BRS-supported candidates dominated the second phase of gram panchayat elections in Siddipet district, winning 125 of 182 panchayats and nearly 69 per cent of sarpanch posts, leaving Congress and BJP far behind.

The BRS has never lost a Lok Sabha election in Medak since the party was launched in 2001.
