The JNTUH announced that BTech first-year classes for the 2025–26 academic year will begin on August 11, 2025. An Induction Program will also be launched the same day to introduce students to university life, academic guidelines, and student support systems.

Prior to first spell instructions, newly admitted students will undergo a six-day induction programme commencing August 19.
