Since the announcement of Bihar Assembly elections, authorities have seized liquor worth Rs 23.41 crore, cash, drugs, and freebies totaling Rs 64.13 crore. Over 750 people have been arrested, with intensive surveillance and enforcement measures in place to ensure fair polling

According to the rules, cash exceeding Rs. 50,000 being transported without relevant documentation will be seized.

Based on information provided by Flying Surveillance Team and the local police, the cars were intercepted and the cash was found in these vehicles, police said.

During the entire poll process in 2018 elections in Telangana, the total seizure was cash and gold worth Rs.103 crore.
