Attapur police have registered two cases following an incident involving cattle transporters and gau rakshaks. One case was booked under the Cow Slaughter and Animal Cruelty Acts, while another was filed against a group accused of attacking the transporters.

On a tip off, the police along with the local cow protection committee members, stopped a truck carrying the cattle.
